Wherever we come from, when we work with shared purpose and genuine care, we create a community that feels like home.

Therefore every year, as the holidays approach, our focus is on introducing new and improved experiences for our people through celebrations that are both unforgettable and worth cherishing. Often drawing inspiration from local traditions in food, décor, music, and play to make each event feel as homely as possible. At the same time, we recognize that this time is best spent with family and friends, and have thoughtfully planned our schedules to create the perfect balance between work and personal life.

Festivities as a Living Culture

As someone who deeply believes in the power of community at work, we have seen how shared moments of joy strengthen trust and collaboration.

We never miss an opportunity to celebrate and have fun, driven by our strong belief in fostering a positive culture rooted in inclusivity and work-life balance. This is reflected in every employee’s reviews across popular platforms like Glassdoor and AmbitionBox too, where they share the good times spent with their colleagues and friends during office celebrations. This period also serves as a great platform for teams across departments to connect, collaborate, and strengthen as a community. Here is a list of some widely celebrated events globally across offices at Xapads:

The month of Ramadan kickstarts our festive celebrations with RSVP-driven Iftar gatherings across Indonesia and the MENA region, bringing together colleagues, clients, and friends for shared meals that foster community connections. Soon after, the Holi celebration brings our India office alive with colors of joy, water games, delicious food, and togetherness.

We also take pride in celebrating national holidays like Independence Day, fostering unity and a sense of belonging at our India office through flag hoisting, kite flying, and friendly activities such as tug-of-war and canvas painting.

And then comes Diwali, the most anticipated celebration of the year at our India base. It unfolds as a week-long festivity featuring sports events, flameless cooking competitions, CSR initiatives, blood donation drives, and a grand D-Day party and mela. The event highlights our traditions, celebrates our Xapads community and partners, and fills the atmosphere with games, dance, music, and food.

Lastly, Christmas marks the end of the year with warmth and camaraderie across global offices. The much-loved Secret Santa exchange fills our work spaces with thoughtfulness and laughter, while themed parties and gatherings, especially in the UK,  bring colleagues and clients together to celebrate the year gone by.

Beyond these festivities, we also find the excuse to celebrate birthdays, work anniversaries, and life milestones, etc. Each occasion, no matter how personal, becomes a shared moment of appreciation that strengthens the bond we call the Xapads family.

Balancing Performance and Festive Timeline

Festivities are meant to be shared with loved ones, which is why we thoughtfully prepare flexible work schedules, floating holidays, and extended week-offs for our people. During Diwali, our India team takes time off to be with family; in the Middle East and SEA, we offer shorter workdays during Ramadan; and our teams in the UK and US unwind over Christmas. Fair pay, work-life balance, and ample leave policies ensure that celebrations are not merely for show but come from a place of genuine care and nourishment.

Nurturing a Work Culture of Inclusivity

Inclusivity is at the core of our values, with our policies reflecting our commitment to putting people first and ensuring that every Xapads employee globally feels valued, supported, and heard. When it comes to celebrations, we extend this same care and thoughtfulness whether it’s Diwali, Eid, Christmas, Lunar New Year, and many other festivals. After all, there’s a special connection between work and celebration, and each festival presents a wonderful opportunity for us to connect, unwind, and create memories together. Here’s to many more festivities filled with laughter, connection, and cherished memories!
